I am setting up a small studio in Nidri town, Lefkas Island in the Ionian. The studio will be open at the start of the summer season 2006. I will be teaching local people and holiday makers to paint and decorate pieces of ceramics which have been cast in a mould. The range of pieces for painting are large and varied. They include household goods like mugs, ashtrays, picture frames as well as decorative items like Easter and Xmas ornaments, wall hangings, sea sculptures etc. The pieces are painted and then fired or painted and sealed depending on the finish required.
